The RH Tide Baseball program was founded by Tyler Midgett. Tyler’s passion for the game and desire to provide a place for players to further develop their love for the game led to the start of the Richmond Hill Tide 8U team in May 2018. From there, it was evident that Richmond Hill needed a program to allow more players a chance to play travel ball, and that is when Tyler decided to expand the brand. He, alongside the RH Tide Board, has now created a program that will offer players of different ages to participate in the travel ball circuit.  It is the goal of the Board to develop a program that teaches the game at a high level while helping players grow on and off the field.

RH Tide also has a 501(c)3 organization Richmond Hill Tide Booster Club designed to support the Richmond Hill Tide Baseball travel team in Richmond Hill, Georgia. The non-profit provides opportunities that help offset the expenses of competitive travel baseball and strengthen the team. The club supports the players and coaches in character development and fostering team spirit among the players and club members.

The success of RH Tide is apparent based on the fact that our original players are now playing for the local Middle School or High School Baseball Teams.
